📰 News we're reading

• ICE targets an anti-Israel protester — this time, a Hasidic Jew (jta.org) — Federal immigration enforcement's impact reaches Teaneck, where ICE previously detained local bridal shop owner Ari Ladino and his mother during a broader nationwide surge. The story centers on a Satmar Hasidic man facing deportation over his anti-Israel protest activity, raising questions about whether the Trump administration is penalizing protected religiously motivated speech.
