2 Injured In Shooting In Passaic County, Cops Say

The shooting that hospitalized two men came just two days after a separate shooting in Passaic County. No arrests have been made yet.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — Two people ended up in the hospital overnight in Paterson after a shooting, police said.

On Monday, around 10:15 p.m., police were called to Madison and Essex streets on reports of shots fired.

Authorities found two gunshot victims: one 33-year-old man and one 60-year-old man.

Both victims were taken to a hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities were able to establish a crime scene, and an investigation is underway. No arrests have been announced as of Tuesday morning.

Monday night’s shooting follows a separate shooting in Passaic County just two days before.

On Saturday, around 6:30 p.m., police were called to Harrison and Spruce streets in the city of Passaic on reports of a shooting.

Authorities did not find any victims, but were able to establish a crime scene.
