Officer Shoots Man Dead At Home In South Jersey: AG

MILLVILLE, NJ — A man was killed in an officer-involved shooting at a home on Thursday, the New Jersey Attorney General's Office said.

The identities of both individuals are being withheld for the time being.

Neighbors told ABC the "standoff" began at 8 a.m. and that detectives were still going in and out of the home late into the night.

"Just asking if they could come outside, show yourself, we just want to make sure you're OK, you're not in trouble--those kinds of things," one local said of the conversations that went on between the man and law enforcement.
