BELLMORE, NY — Kindergarten students at Reinhard Early Childhood Center got an up-close look at the wonders of nature as they watched baby chicks hatch in their classroom.

The students learned all about chicks and how they hatch. Using an incubator, students observed the eggs, eagerly tracking their progress until hatching day. The experience brought excitement to the classroom as students witnessed the fluffy chicks emerge.

Throughout the project, students learned about the life cycles and how chicks develop before hatching. They also discussed the importance of responsibility while helping care for the chicks once they arrived.
