• Park Police release photos of dirt bikers who fled traffic stop, injuring park officer (nydailynews.com) — U.S. Park Police are asking Brooklyn and Rockaways residents to help identify three dirt bike riders who fled a traffic stop near Fort Tilden on Sept. 2, causing an officer's ATV to overturn and injure him. The trio was last seen on Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn, and anyone who recognizes them is urged to call the Park Police tip line.
   

• Permits Filed for 439 Liberty Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn (newyorkyimby.com) — A new seven-story mixed-use building is planned for 439 Liberty Avenue in East New York, bringing 26 likely rental apartments plus commercial and community facility space to the neighborhood. Located near the Liberty Avenue C train station, the 72-foot-tall project would add nearly 21,000 square feet of residential, retail, and community use once permits and demolition move forward.
