• Early adversity tests East Meadow (liherald.com) — East Meadow boys soccer is battling early-season injuries after a strong 3–0 opener against Hempstead, forcing younger players into bigger roles. Coach Bryan Horrmann says the team is staying positive, leaning on senior leaders and rising underclassmen as they push through a tough stretch of losses and work to climb back into contention with about a dozen games left.
