• Volleyball Recap: Hauppauge's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Five (maxpreps.com) — Hauppauge's girls volleyball team has stretched its winning streak to five with a tight 3–2 road victory over West Islip, improving to 8–8 on the season. Standout performances from Khloe Collins and Lindsay Adams powered the Eagles, who now return home to host Half Hollow Hills West on Monday at 6 p.m., giving local fans a chance to cheer them on.
   

• King Kullen Officially Acquired By Giunta's Meat Farms (patch.com) — Hauppauge-headquartered King Kullen has officially been acquired by Giunta's Meat Farms, bringing together two family-owned Long Island supermarket chains. All 24 King Kullen stores and four Wild by Nature locations will remain open for now, with decisions ahead on which will keep the King Kullen name as prices, fresh offerings, and services are promised to improve.
