• Raytheon Lands $247.1M Navy Contract for Phalanx and SeaRAM Close-In Weapon Systems (envzone.com) — A new $247 million Navy contract for Raytheon's Phalanx and SeaRAM weapon systems will send a share of the work to Hauppauge, alongside numerous other U.S. locations. While most activity is elsewhere, it still means specialized manufacturing or support work tied to this program will be handled locally through 2030, contributing modestly to the area's defense-related economy.
