12-Year-Old, 15-Year-Old Arrested In Burglary Case Involving 2 Businesses
Hudson Valley Cheesecake and Triple Shot Coffee were robbed earlier this month, according to the City of Newburgh Police Department.
NEWBURGH, NY— Two adolescents were arrested in connection to the burglary of two Orange County businesses, according to police.
On Sept. 9, around 11 a.m., City of Newburgh police responded to Liberty Street following the report of a burglary that had taken place during the previous night. The targets of the burglary were Hudson Valley Cheesecake and Triple Shot Coffee, two Liberty Street businesses operating out of the same building.
After forcing entry into the building, the two burglars damaged and stole property.

The City of Newburgh Police Department Detective Division investigated the incident.
On Thursday, at approximately 6 p.m., City of Newburgh Detectives arrested two City of Newburgh residents, ages 12 and 15, in connection with the burglary. The juveniles were each charged with burglary and petit larceny. They were also charged with second-degree menacing in connection with an unrelated separate incident.

The pair was released pending appearances in Family Court. Officials said that due to their ages, no additional information will be released about the two suspects.
