Driver Loses Control Of Car, Crashes Off LIE In Yaphank: Police

YAPHANK, NY — A driver lost control of a Hyundai Sonata and crashed off of the Long Island Expressway on Wednesday morning in Yaphank on Wednesday morning, Suffolk police said.
The driver sustained a non-life-threatening injury, but it is not clear if they went to the hospital, according to police.
The crash took place near Exit 67 at around 6 a.m., police said.
