• 7 POBJFK Students Named Semifinalists In Scholarship Competition (patch.com) — Seven Plainview-Old Bethpage John F. Kennedy High School seniors have been named semifinalists in the highly competitive 2027 National Merit Scholarship Competition, standing out from more than 1.3 million entrants nationwide. These Plainview students will learn in February if they advance to finalist status, with scholarship winners announced between April and July.
