Detectives from the 115th Precinct are still searching for the gunman, while precinct data show overall felony assaults down this year but a small uptick in shooting victims compared with 2025.

Woman sought for attacking on-duty MTA bus driver after complaining of poor service along Q103 route in Long Island City: NYPD (qns.com) — An MTA bus driver on the Q103 route in Long Island City was punched repeatedly by a rider angry about service and later treated at Mount Sinai Queens Hospital in stable condition. Police from Astoria's 114th Precinct are searching for the woman, sharing her image and offering a reward, while noting felony assaults and transit crimes are down this year in the precinct.
