• Home to New York's largest state-park pool, this Westchester park is bringing back its iconic Harry Potter Forbidden Forest after four years (secretnyc.co) — Scarsdale residents are a short drive from Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park in Yorktown Heights, where the Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience returns this fall with new story chapters, interactive wand moments, and thousands of lights. The park, in one of New York's safest regions alongside Scarsdale, also offers record-breaking pool facilities, lakeside fishing, hiking, and nearby orchards to turn the nighttime walk into a full Hudson Valley day trip.
