• Man Pulled From Great South Bay In Serious Condition: Police (patch.com) — A man who lost consciousness while clamming in the Great South Bay off Copiague was rushed to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip, where he remains in serious condition. A passerby pulled him from the water and began CPR before paramedics continued treatment. Suffolk detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the First Squad.
