Officers from Alamance County and nearby departments made 43 stops, issuing 36 charges ranging from speeding and DWI to drug offenses, targeting intersections with some of the city’s highest crash rates.

BREAKING WED: Officials laud Mebane Buc-ee's at groundbreaking (alamancenews.com) — A massive Buc-ee’s travel center is officially underway in Mebane, poised to become one of Alamance County’s biggest sales tax generators and a major new employer by 2027. Local and state officials highlighted the project’s road improvements, 200 planned full-time jobs, and shared tax benefits for Mebane, Graham, and Alamance County at Wednesday’s groundbreaking.

Four charged after shots fired into occupied Graham home; no injuries reported (abc45.com) — Graham police have charged four people after shots were fired into an occupied Oakley Street home in April, with no injuries reported. Investigators from Graham and Burlington recovered several stolen firearms, and anyone with information can contact Alamance County Crime Stoppers or local police as the case continues under North Carolina’s Iryna’s Law detention rules.
