• Burlington police, K-9 arrest two suspected catalytic converter thieves (wxii12.com) — Burlington police arrested two men early Tuesday after reports of suspicious activity and sawing sounds at Ken’s Cars on South Mebane Street. Officers, including K-9 Dax, chased the suspects on foot, seized tools and bags, and charged both with felony larceny of motor vehicle parts and related offenses before jailing them in Alamance County without bond.
