County officials say the deal could close by the end of June, unlocking the EMS project. Meanwhile, the county has completed a separate purchase of a historic Graham home for the visitors bureau.

A planned discussion of the lawsuit between the two cities was pulled from the closed-session agenda, leaving only the performance review that boosted the manager’s pay to more than $237,000 with COLA.
