DEQ Raleigh regional office relocates to Reedy Creek Road (nc.gov) — If you visit the NC Department of Environmental Quality's Raleigh Regional Office, you'll need to head to its new location at 4407 Reedy Creek Road starting Sept. 1. The expanded Reedy Creek Lab Campus will add public meeting space, labs, and energy-efficient features while keeping the same mailing address and phone numbers for local residents and businesses.

Downtown Raleigh marks gains while facing pressure to improve safety: 'Sleepy town to big city' (abc11.com) — Downtown Raleigh leaders, business owners, and residents just took stock of the city center's rapid growth, celebrating 22 million annual visitors and free two-hour deck parking while confronting crime and transit concerns. The State of Downtown meeting highlighted frustrations with the Wilmington Street transit tunnel closure and calls for better safety, mass transit, and connections to Dix Park.
   

3. With prototypes ready and waitlists growing past 1,000 users, the students are now seeking partners to bring their productivity-boosting ideas to app stores.
