• Teen in hospital after falling in 30-foot hole in Randleman, property being assessed (myfox8.com) — A teenager is hospitalized after falling about 30 feet through a hole in a condemned building on the old Worthville Mill property along Russell Walker Avenue in Randleman. Local fire and EMS crews rescued the teen, who was conscious and talking, and flew him from a nearby baseball field to a hospital. Officials are now assessing the building and contacting the property owner as the site remains for sale. 
• Second child injured after fall near Worthville Dam; mother says danger was reported months ago (wfmynews2.com) — A child is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after falling into a hole near the Warfield Dam area in Randleman, the same spot where another child was hurt last fall. The first child’s mother says her family reported the danger months ago but saw no fixes, and she’s now urging the property owner to secure the private site with barriers or repairs to prevent more injuries.
