Doylestown Nonprofit Looking For House To "Toilet Paper" On Mischief Night

DOYLESTOWN, PA — The nonprofit famous for taking over towns in support of Bucks County's breast cancer community is looking for a fun-loving family property to "toilet paper" on Mischief Night.

“The idea began when I was trying to unearth a younger demographic and attract families to experience something fun together. So, Kristina and I donated our house and allowed the
community to bring their own toilet paper, donate $5 per roll to TP our house," said Keith Fenimore, the founder and executive director of Main Street, a nonprofit that supports breast cancer patients and their caregivers. "The event has grown year-over-year and is wildly popular. There's only one problem - we moved. And our new home is a twin in the borough which is not conducive to host the event.

"So, as opposed to ending the fun, we thought we’d ask the community if someone wanted to step up and host the fundraiser," said Fenimore.

Local business Anchor Facility Services run by Fran Dougherty Jr. will be on hand the day after to provide free clean up and the TP will be composted.

Fran shares, “I am honored to donate our professional services to support a local nonprofit that helps our breast cancer community in this fun and unique way. Since I will be there with my family throwing TP, the least I could do is clean it up the next day.”

The event will take place on Mischief Night October 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. Event details and location requirements include:

• Ample street parking (historically people come in waves and there are 15 to 20 cars at any given time).'
• A driveway – We invite School of Rock to Play in the driveway.
• Space for a food truck – we invite Spuddy Buddy Fry Factory to sell fries.
• Ample trees – most of the TP is thrown in trees and bushes, as well as the roof of the house.
• Cool neighbors.
  

“People always ask me how they can help, welp here’s a great way to support us albeit a bit unorthodox. Kristina and I hosted this event on Oak Dr. in Doylestown for years without incident. My neighbors attended and participated and everything was cleaned up and returned to normal the very next day," said Fenimore. "The event generated over a thousand dollars each year and we used the money to fulfill our mission to support our local breast cancer community. I am very confident that we will find a great family, in a cool neighborhood to allow us to … be bad for a good!”

He added, "This is a BYOTP event (bring your own toilet paper) with a $5 donation per roll. No need to call the police; they have already been invited," said Fenimore.
