5. 5 central Delaware County municipalities vote to create EMS authority (delcotimes.com) — Five nearby Delaware County municipalities have voted to form a new EMS authority that will start operating in 2027, reshaping how ambulance service is funded and delivered around Media. Media Borough helped plan the system but chose not to join for now, though its ambulance will still respond through mutual aid, and officials say the door remains open for Media to participate later.
