• $1.3M Dam Removal Project Set To Begin On Neshaminy Creek In Bucks (patch.com) — Residents around Newtown's Tyler State Park will soon see work begin on a $1.3 million project to remove the Spring Garden Dam from Neshaminy Creek, starting Sept. 8. Officials say the Newtown-area restoration will improve stream health, boost safety for paddlers and anglers, and minimally disrupt access, with only short-term trail and footpath closures planned during construction.
