• Man arrested on assault, sexual assault charges in Exeter (newportdispatch.com) — State police responded to a serious disturbance at a Liberty Road home in Exeter on Sept. 25, arresting an 80-year-old resident on multiple felony assault and sexual assault charges; he is being held without bail pending court arraignment. The same day, troopers separately arrested a Warwick woman on a DUI charge after finding her disabled vehicle on I-95 in West Greenwich.
