2 Charged In Connection With Pawtucket Drive-By Shooting: Cops
A 21-year-old and a juvenile were arrested, police said.
PAWTUCKET, RI — Two were arrested in connection with a Friday afternoon drive-by shooting, police said.
Officers were sent to a residence on Cottage Street near Kossuth Street shortly after 1 p.m. to investigate a report of shots fired, the Pawtucket Police Department said in a media release.
Officers found two shell casings in the street, the release said, but no sign of anyone wounded in the shooting.

Using surveillance video, detectives identified a "vehicle of interest," according to the release.
"Shortly thereafter the vehicle was located and took two individuals into custody for questioning," the release said.

The two in custody for questioning — Deshon Depaiva, 20, and a juvenile — were arrested on charges of drive-by shooting and conspiracy, according to the release.
"Depaiva will be arraigned by a bail commissioner (Saturday) morning and the juvenile male was sent to the Rhode Island Training School," the release said.
