Man On Electric Unicycle Struck By Stolen Car In Pawtucket Hit-And-Run: Cops (patch.com) — Pawtucket police say a 48-year-old man riding an electric unicycle was critically injured when a stolen car hit him near Main and Magill Streets and fled the scene. Officers had earlier tried to stop the vehicle in Pawtucket but ended the chase for safety reasons, and a Providence woman has since been arrested on multiple charges tied to the hit-and-run and stolen car.
   

2. Silver Alert issued for missing Pawtucket woman (wpri.com) — Pawtucket police have issued a Silver Alert for 71-year-old resident Josefa German, who hasn't been heard from since Monday afternoon and is considered endangered due to health concerns. Officers are asking anyone who may have seen her or has information to call Pawtucket police immediately so she can be found safely.
   

3. Elon Finishes Road Swing At No. 8/13 Rhode Island (elonphoenix.com) — A nationally ranked University of Rhode Island football team will host Elon at Centreville Bank Stadium in Pawtucket this Saturday, giving local fans a chance to see a top-25 matchup close to home. Kickoff is at noon, with streaming and radio options available for those who can't make it to the stadium.
   

4. Hasbro headquarters move to Boston still months away one year after announcement (turnto10.com) — Hasbro's long-planned move of its headquarters from Pawtucket to Boston is running behind schedule, leaving its Newport Avenue complex still in use while employees only now receive transfer or severance details. Pawtucket Mayor Don Grebien says the city is exploring new uses for the soon-to-be-vacant buildings, from housing to industrial space, but has little guidance from the company so far.
   

5. NBC 10 PM Flash Briefing: September 8, 2026 (turnto10.com) — A Providence woman has been arrested after a Pawtucket hit-and-run that left a man in critical condition, highlighting an ongoing local public safety concern.
