Suspended East Providence Driver Charged With Leaving Scene Of Accident: Cops
The driver was tracked down in Providence, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A suspended driver from East Providence was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, police said.
Ryan Gobern, 49, was arrested about 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
Gobern was charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in damage to an attended vehicle and driving on a suspended license, according to the release.

"This arrest was the result of Troopers responding to a hit and run motor vehicle accident and Troopers locating the suspect and vehicle on Douglas Avenue" in Providence, the release said.
Gobern was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and taken to Sixth Division District Court for an arraignment, according to the release.
