• One of RI's worst instances of PFAS contamination is growing in Tiverton (providencejournal.com) — Tiverton residents near Crandall Road are facing one of Rhode Island's worst PFAS drinking water contamination crises, with more than half of tested wells above state limits and some at extremely high levels. The town is rushing to extend the North Tiverton Fire District water system using federal funds, while also delivering bottled water, installing filters, and arranging free mental health support for affected households.
