Waterspout caught on camera in Hilton Head (wsoctv.com) — A fair-weather waterspout formed just off Hilton Head Island's beaches Tuesday morning, briefly spinning over the ocean and tossing spray into the air. Captured on video by Shore Beach Service, the funnel was short-lived and not especially dangerous. Meteorologists note such waterspouts are fairly common along the South Carolina coast in late summer.
