• TVFCU Southside Nights watch party at Finley Stadium sees great turn out for UT-GT (newschannel9.com) — Hundreds of Vols fans turned Finley Stadium's field into a giant watch party for Tennessee's win over Georgia Tech, complete with food, games, and live music from Chattanooga band The Essentials. Organized as a TVFCU Southside Nights "test run," the strong turnout and family-friendly atmosphere could help determine whether more of these Chattanooga events are scheduled soon.
   

• Medal of Honor Heritage Center holds 25th remembrance of 9/11 (wdef.com) — Chattanooga residents gathered at the Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center for a 25th-anniversary 9/11 remembrance, hearing firsthand stories from veterans and a Medal of Honor recipient. Speakers reflected on the difficult rescue efforts, the unity that followed the attacks, and urged the community to carry forward that spirit of togetherness and understanding today.
   

• Man Arrested in Chattanooga After Online Undercover Sting (wdef.com) — A man was arrested in Chattanooga after investigators say he sent explicit photos and arranged to meet what he thought were underage girls during an online sting. Hamilton County authorities and the FBI traced his communications, linked him to prior out-of-state convictions, and jailed him on multiple solicitation and exploitation charges ahead of a scheduled September 16 court appearance.
