Denver native Alyssa Ramos, now a junior, has led King to multiple tournament wins and will chase a regional title later this year, underscoring new opportunities for women in collegiate flag football.

• NETN Association Realtors: Median price of homes in region sitting at $282K (wjhl.com) — Kingsport’s housing market saw a 5% jump in March home sales, with 100 properties sold, even as its median price slipped 12.8% to $278,000. • School voucher bill narrowly passes state House (greenevillesun.com) — Two Kingsport lawmakers, John Crawford and Bud Hulsey, voted in favor of a closely contested bill to expand Tennessee’s school voucher program, which passed the House 52–43. The measure would boost available scholarships to 35,000, send funds with students to approved private schools, and provide some state money back to public districts that lose enrollment.
