4. As Fort Worth sludge site dries up, birders express concern for wildlife, loss of habitat (fortworthreport.org) — Birders and biologists with ties to UT Arlington are worried that Fort Worth's Village Creek Drying Beds, once a premier birding spot, are drying up after an Arlington transmission line oil leak and operational changes halted pumped-in water.
