The roundup even stretches to Boerne's Las Guitarras, offering ideas for everything from date nights to casual patio hangs.
   

2. America250: Texas Air Museum preserves San Antonio's century-old aviation history (ksat.com) — San Antonio's Texas Air Museum at Stinson Field is keeping more than a century of local aviation history alive, from the pioneering Stinson family flying school to aircraft linked with President Kennedy's 1963 visit. Volunteers say the real draw is hearing veterans' personal stories that connect today's visitors with the city's long military and aviation legacy.
   

3. This pothole has been destroying his San Antonio commute for 5 years (ksat.com) — If you drive South Zarzamora on the South Side, you're not alone in dodging the same dangerous potholes a commuter says have plagued his San Antonio route for five years. After KSAT flagged the problem, city Public Works quickly dispatched a repair crew and revealed they battle about 75,000 potholes a year, fueled by roughly 500 monthly resident reports.
   

4. San Antonio attorney denies groping and kissing client at Bexar County Courthouse. (news4sanantonio.com) — A San Antonio attorney is contesting criminal allegations tied to an alleged 2024 incident with a client at the Bexar County Courthouse, saying the claims have badly damaged his reputation and practice. He maintains his innocence, plans to seek a speedy jury trial, and may represent himself after reviewing any available video evidence.
   

5. 9-year-old San Antonio student released from Dilley trailer prison (sacurrent.com) — A 9-year-old San Antonio student and her father have been released from the Dilley immigrant detention center after more than a month in custody, following pressure from U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro of San Antonio. Castro, who calls the facility a "trailer prison," is also demanding release of a San Antonio mother whose son is a U.S. Naval Academy midshipman and criticizing federal immigration enforcement practices affecting local military families.
