Advocates and local law enforcement describe the raids as unusual, raise concerns about racial profiling and oversight, and note that many similar detentions may never become public. 
• Man dies days after fiery crash in Plainfield (unionleader.com) — A 53-year-old White River Junction resident, Clayton Ezequelle, has died from injuries suffered in a fiery two-vehicle crash in Plainfield, New Hampshire, last week. Police say an 18-year-old Claremont driver is facing aggravated DWI and other charges as investigators continue to gather information about the high-speed collision.
