• Local Virginia GOP chair says Arlington County officials prioritize illegal immigrants over public safety (timebulletin.us) — Arlington County's immigration "trust policy" and prosecution practices are under sharp fire from House Republicans and the local GOP chair, who argue they put undocumented immigrants ahead of public safety. Local leaders, including Commonwealth's Attorney Parisa Dehghani-Tafti, strongly reject the report as partisan and misleading, leaving Arlington residents in the middle of a heated national fight over local enforcement priorities.
