Police Search For Shoplifting Suspect After Arlington Store Robbery
Arlington police said a man threw merchandise at an employee before fleeing a store without paying.
ARLINGTON, VA — Arlington County police are searching for a man accused of robbing a store Wednesday after allegedly throwing merchandise at an employee.
According to police, officers responded to the 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard shortly before 3:50 p.m. for a reported robbery.
A preliminary investigation revealed the suspect entered the business, concealed merchandise, removed items from packaging and threw the merchandise at an employee before leaving the store without paying, according to police.

No injuries were reported.
Responding officers searched the area but did not locate the man.

Police described the suspect as a thin Black man, approximately 25 to 35 years old, standing 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighing 150 to 165 pounds. He had facial hair and was last seen wearing all black clothing.
The incident remains under investigation.
