77-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed In Loudoun County Crash: LCSO

STERLING, VA – A 77-year-old pedestrian was killed in an accident involving two vehicles in Sterling Wednesday evening, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office reports.

According to LCSO, deputies responding to Innovation Avenue near Sully Road in Sterling just after 8 p.m. found a pedestrian, an SUV and a sedan involved in an accident.

The pedestrian, Jacqueline Heaps, 77, of Sterling, was pronounced dead at the scene.

LCSO says both vehicles remained at the crash site and that neither driver was injured. Deputies say neither speed nor alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
