Loudoun County Man Indicted For Possessing, Distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material
A Loudoun County man arrested in April has been indicted on several counts relating to child sexual abuse material.
LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA – A Leesburg man was indicted on Wednesday on four counts of receiving, possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material.
An Alexandria grand jury indicted Jeffrey Steven Cohen on one charge of receiving child pornography, one count of possessing child pornography and two counts of distributing child pornography.
Cohen had been arrested in April for offenses alleged to have occurred between June 2024 and October 2025. Prosecutors say between October 2024 and July 2025, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received about 10 tips about Cohen and various accounts on messaging apps.

Investigators claim Cohen received and shared images and videos of children as young as 10.
In October 2025, FBI agents searched the Leesburg home Cohen shared with his wife and reported finding 30 images and seven videos meeting the definition of child pornography on his cell phone. They allege that Cohen used the Kik messaging app to receive and send such material.

Cohen is set to be arraigned on August 5.
