The 27-year-old, son of NFL coordinator Eric Bieniemy, now has new private counsel, with his next hearing set for November while his mother continues recovering.
   

• CIA officer David Rush, who was caught with $40M in gold bars, could cop plea deal (amedpost.com) — A former CIA officer living in Ashburn is negotiating a possible plea deal after federal agents reportedly seized hundreds of gold bars, cash, and luxury watches from his home in May. Prosecutors say the gold, valued around $40 million, belonged to the U.S. government, and both sides have asked for more time to finalize a pre-indictment resolution.
