ASHBURN, VA – Virginia State Police have released images of two individuals they want to identify in connection with reports of heavy rocks being thrown onto cars on the Dulles Greenway.
Virginia State Police released video screenshots showing two men potentially connected to a Sept. 7 incident in which heavy rocks were reportedly thrown from the Sycolin Road overpass onto cars driving underneath on the Dulles Greenway.
Christina Martinez, a Loudoun County resident who reported that her car was struck by a rock, posted images on Facebook of the aftermath, including severe damage to her windshield. She wrote that she counts herself lucky that the rock hit the hood of her car first instead of smashing through her windshield or sunroof.
