Woman Dead, Suspect At Large Following Reported Shooting In Aldie: LCSO

ALDIE, VA – One woman is dead and a suspect is at large following a reported shooting in Aldie on Tuesday, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff's office reported a heavy law enforcement presence in the vicinity of Quimby Oaks Place and Sheffield Forest Drive at around noon. LCSO told Patch that deputies responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in the area and that one woman is dead.

In an update, LCSO reported that the shooting took place on the 24000 block of Quimby Oak Place and that the victim was found dead at the scene. Deputies believe the shooting was a domestic dispute. A male suspect has been identified but remains at large.
