• 'F-117 Nighthawk Joins the National Air and Space Museum Collection' (popville.com) — Chantilly residents will soon be able to see the F-117A Nighthawk "Overachiever" on display at the Udvar-Hazy Center near Dulles, expected on the museum floor in late October. The stealth jet, the only one to fly in all four major Nighthawk combat operations, will be reassembled in the restoration hangar before going on public view.
   

• Aerospace names Kristin St. Peter SVP, general counsel, and secretary (intelligencecommunitynews.com) — Aerospace Corporation has promoted Kristin St. Peter to senior vice president, general counsel, and secretary, a role she will perform from the company's Chantilly headquarters starting January 2027. With a background in DIA and NGA legal leadership, she'll oversee legal, ethics, compliance, and audit functions that support the region's national security and intelligence work.
   

• JUST IN: Man charged with bomb threat against Dulles-area mosque (ffxnow.com) — An alleged online bomb threat against the ADAMS Center mosque network has led to the arrest of a Spotsylvania man, with the case to be tried in Loudoun County. While the main mosque is in Sterling, ADAMS also operates a branch in Chantilly, making the investigation and security concerns relevant to local worshippers and neighbors.
