• Your Dog's Best Friends owner sued for $1.6M by dog owner (alextimes.com) — A dog owner has filed a $1.6 million civil suit against the owner of Your Dog's Best Friends, a longtime business serving Del Ray, after his golden retriever died following a 2024 grooming appointment. The case follows a former employee's guilty plea to felony animal cruelty and has shaken trust in the daycare and its sister shop, The Dog Store on Mount Vernon Avenue.
