All Boys ages 11-17 who are interested in Scouts BSA are invited to attend an Open House at the Burke United Methodist Church (BUMC) on Tuesday, 12 May from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. Parents are also welcome to attend. This Open House/ meeting will focus on learning about kayaks as well as knots, lashings and trebuchet. This event is hosted by Boy Troop 1347.
Troop 1347 is chartered by VFW Post 5412, Burke VA. Our troop offers great opportunities for youth to gain leadership skills, while experiencing the aims of Scouting: character development, citizenship, and personal fitness.
No affiliation with BUMC, nor prior Scouting experience is required to join Troop 1347.
