TikTok Prank Ends With Assault Charges At NoVA Grocery Store
A Falls Church man faces assault charges after police say a TikTok prank involving water spraying targeted three people.
FAIRFAX CITY, VA — A TikTok prank ended with criminal charges after a Falls Church man allegedly sprayed water on three people while filming the encounter outside a Fairfax City grocery store, according to police.
The incident happened shortly before 11 a.m. Sunday, at the Safeway at 9622 Main St., according to the Fairfax City Police Department.
Police said officers responded after receiving a report of an assault involving multiple victims. The victims told officers that a man sprayed water on them while recording what they described as a TikTok prank.

Suspect Located Nearby
Officers located the suspect nearby and identified him as Hussein Haj-Assaad, 24, of Falls Church.
Police said Haj-Assaad was issued three Virginia Uniform Summons charging him with assault. He was released after being informed of his court date.
