Alexandria Rehab & Healthcare Awarded National Recognition from AHCA/NCAL

Alexandria Rehabilitation & Healthcare Centerhas earned a Silver – Achievement in Quality Award from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL). Located at 900 Virginia Avenue, Alexandria provides post-hospital care, short-term rehab and long-term residential care. 

 AHCA/NCAL, the nation’s largest industry association, represents more than 15,000 long-term care facitlites. Now celebrating its 30th anniversary, AHCA/NCAL’s National Quality Award Program is a rigorous three-level process in which organizations are reviewed and evaluated by trained experts against a set of nationally recognized standards for excellence. The program helps organizations achieve superior performance over time, ultimately enhancing the quality of care and quality of life for their residents.
