ā¢ Local recycling centers expand plastic acceptances (dailyprogress.com) ā Ivy residents can now drop off #5 plastics at the Ivy Convenience Center on Dick Woods Road, alongside #1 and #2 plastics in a single bin. The Rivanna Solid Waste Authority is also combining all paper except cardboard into one bin, simplifying sorting at Ivy and its two other recycling centers.
