Manassas Man Arrested Still Riding Minibike Police Say He Stole From Teen At Gunpoint
A 34-year-old man is accused of pointing a firearm at a boy and stealing his minibike.
MANASSAS, VA – A 34-year-old man has been charged after a teen was robbed of his minibike at gunpoint, police say.
According to Prince William County police, a 17-year-old was riding his minibike in the 10900 block of Coverstone Drive in Manassas around 10 p.m. Friday when he was approached by a strange man. The man pointed a firearm at the boy, demanded the minbike, and then rode away on it.
Police say they quickly found Darby Jermaine Macon Jr, 34, of Manassas, still riding the minibike. He was arrested and charged with robbery and possession of a controlled substance and is being held without bond.

A minibike is a small, two-wheeled vehicle usually designed for off-roading. Prices currently range from $150 to $1,000.
