• $58M Northern Virginia Real Estate Deal Includes McLean Commerce Center (patch.com) — McLean residents may notice changes coming to McLean Commerce Center after a Fairfax investment firm bought the retail building as part of a $58 million Northern Virginia portfolio. The Chain Bridge Road property, home to My Gym, Kids Language Arts and other local services, was nearly fully leased at sale and is slated for aesthetic upgrades and new management practices. The broader deal also includes major commercial sites in Fairfax, Sterling and Ashburn.
   

• CAA Men's Soccer Weekly Awards - Aug. 31, 2026 (caasports.com) — A William & Mary freshman from McLean, Brown Huffard, earned CAA Rookie of the Week honors again after scoring in the Tribe's conference opener at Elon. The conference roundup also recognizes standout offensive and defensive performances from Charleston and UNCW players around the league.
