Rock The Ave Returns To Alexandria With New Evening Format
Now in its third year, the Eisenhower Corridor community event will present entertainment and shopping during an upcoming October evening.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — Rock The Ave will return to Alexandria's Eisenhower Corridor in October, with organizers moving the annual community event into the evening for the first time.
The 3rd Annual Rock The Ave: Twilight Edition will be held Friday, Oct. 9, from 5-8 p.m. at Carlyle Crossing Plaza, 2455 Mandeville Lane.
The free, family-friendly event is presented by Carlyle Crossing and the Eisenhower Partnership and will feature live music, local food and businesses, makers and artisans, children's entertainment, interactive activities and community organizations, organizers said in a release.

Live music presented by the Yellow Door Concert Series will include performances by DMV-based Walkaways, followed by Late Night Superstars.
Rock The Ave is now in its third year and is designed to bring together residents, families and visitors while showcasing businesses and organizations in the Eisenhower area.

A limited number of vendor spaces remain available. Interested vendors can apply for a space here.
The event is free, but attendees can register through Eventbrite.
