Suffolk Public Schools confirms it is investigating how the child was unaccounted for for more than an hour and released at a stop without a parent present.

Judges in St. Louis sampled more than 150 honey beers nationwide, putting this Suffolk-made brew in elite company and spotlighting the city’s growing craft beer scene on a national stage.
   

4. IW Planning Commission votes 4-3 against proposed crisis hom... (smithfieldtimes.com) — Regional mental health officials explain that Western Tidewater Community Services Board now serves nearly 6,000 people across Isle of Wight, Southampton, and the cities of Suffolk and Franklin through group homes, clinics, crisis centers and school-based staff. The discussion comes as Isle of Wight weighs a new purpose-built crisis facility to replace an older Hampton site, which could affect how Suffolk residents access crisis care.
